Samba Mortale
Fast German Krautrock-Samba, carried through the fascinating vocals by Maria Archer. Also my long time favorite on this album full of fantastic grooves, interesting instrumentation and a sound that goes in many different directions. Psychedelic Jazz, Fusion, Soul, Latin, Funk, Krautrock … or simply very fast and catchy Feel Good Music!
Sadly this is the only release by the REAL AX BAND and they made it at their time in very a unconventional way. Self-financed, released on April, later Schneeball Records (MUSIK im VERTRIEB der MUSIKER). But they managed to sell two thousand copies mostly via Schneeball Records network concerts, family and friends of friends.
