Finest Latin Jazz, Bossanova and Brazilian music recorded in Frankfurt, Germany and released on Rillenschlange. The obscure label name is a complex term of the German words “Rille” which characterize also the groove of a record and “Brillenschlange” what’s the German word for a Indian cobra.

VIA BRASIL was the first release by Ximo & Judy which moved to Germany a couple of years before they recorded this brilliant album. Some of the songs are covers of classic Brazilian tunes, other tracks are composed by Ximo Gregerio himself or Izio Gross, the only real Carioca on this recording. Today Ximo & Judy living in Spain and they still make their awesome music. You can listen via SOUNDCLOUD to a lot of their great tunes.
