Clean and carefully used. Just some ultra-light surface signs of age. The cover looks nice. With some storage wear and edge wear. The pictures are generic and have nothing to do with the actual offer. The funny SMILEY picture disc comes in a gatefold cover.

There were two different editions of this record. One came in a gatefold cover with information about the marketing activities of the bizzl brand and was intended for the drinks retailer. The other edition is the same picture disc with the same music, but in an ordinary record cover, which was given away to the end customers as part of a prize draw.

This is a super fun summer hits compilation to promote the fresh bizzl summer lemonades. Unfortunately, it only contains one really good song: STRANGER IN SPACE by Crypton. A fantastic casual kind of cosmic disco and a very convincing combination of funky, soulful music with sophisticated synthesizer sounds. Also outstanding is the interplay of the vocoder and the wonderful female vocals. It all comes from Mannheim, Germany, from the early 80s, but sounds very fresh and modern. Originally STRANGER IN SPACE was only released as a small 7″ single (Aladin – ALA A 1328). This smiling bizzl promo picture disc record is the only 12″ vinyl release containing this gigantic galactic disco gem.
