Sounds a little medically … The group name TRIMOPEN is not easy to remember or pronounce. Even easier to notice is the well-fitting album title “Freiheit den Rhythmusknechten” (Freedom for Rhythm Slaves). And this describes perfectly what was happening while this recording. Wild Tribal, free percussion, powerful drums and melodies made with nothing else then rhythm.
Sophisticated sound. And also fast forward is the straight cover artwork. Front and backside are consequent, exactly the same. The style of typography and especially the photography of this UV blacklight, nightlife situation with neon accessories and glow in the dark colour is something that was coming trendy years later in the 90s Techno club and Rave culture. At the insert, we can read that these three talented cats from Koblenz was sponsored by Schlagwerk Klangobjekte and DRUMLAND, a local music store.
