The artist name, Alain Bergier, maybe sounds French but it’s just a Library musician pseudonym for the German composer, producer and guitarist Ralf Illenberger. Delicious, relaxed Ambient music pressed on vinyl at a time as this was maybe already a little bit old-fashioned, and sure, this album was also available as a compact disc.
