Another one of those various artist compilations by Deutsche Phono-Akademie. A mixed lucky bag of debuts from JAZZ & ROCK bands, recorded live at the annual Nachwuchs Festival. Contains great debut features and in some cases nowhere else released tunes by talented German German Jazz musicians.
Besides the many groovy Jazz tunes, there is one towering tune in a Funk & Soul context. FRISBEE by Mainpoint. Fast 80s vocal Boogie delicacy which was also available on a little 7″ vinyl single.
