Max Greger And His Orchestra ‎– Sunshine Starshine (1970)

POLYDOR – 2371 009, GERMANY, 1970

VG-/VG+
Used vinyl from 1970. The surface shows many light scratches and signs of use and age. But it’s clean and plays fine for that. Vintage vinyl sound with permanent background noises and crispy crackling parts. But it’s possible to listen and enjoy. No skips or super bad scratches. The cover shows some price stickers, a stamp and storage signs. The picture is a generic one, has nothing to do with the actual offer.

Description

Max Greger And His Orchestra ‎
Sunshine Starshine

Polydor ‎– 2371 009
Germany
1970

German jazz musician, saxophonist, big band leader, and conductor Max Greger with an orchestra made up of great European jazz musicians. Armin Rusch, Benny Bailey, Branko Pejaković, Don Menza, Fredy Brock, and many others.

The outlandish hand-made cover artwork is somewhat reminiscent of the hr Big Band 77 album. Musically, too, it hits the same line. Euro-Funk, Soul-Jazz, and Big Band Beat. Strong bass line, tight drums, the soulful sax of Max Greger. Many great tunes and a lot of them are dope instrumental versions of famous HAIR classics.
