German Schlager-singer Mary Roos has already released some wonderful Bossa Nova and slightly Brazilian-influenced songs, but the track BLAUER MONTAG included here is her absolute highlight in this direction. A version sung in German of MAS QUE NADA, the Brazilian song written by Jorge Ben, which you know in any case from the popular version by Sérgio Mendes & Brasil 66. The great piano parts and the catchy voice of Mary Roos make this song the perfect remedy for the Monday morning blues, which is also the theme of the German lyrics.

Also included is the hit ARIZONA MAN. A composition by Giorgio Moroder and also the first futuristic song in German Schlager to feature synthesizer use. And another slightly cheesy but beautiful cover version of AND I LOVE HER originally by The Beatles.
