Beautiful album by the Austrian singer and actress Marianne Mendt. Arranged by Hans Salomon, Karl Kowarik and Richard Österreicher. Contains some soft and soulful tunes sung in German but sometimes with a slightly Brazilian flavour. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent Bossa Nova treasure called DU BIST DER SONNENSCHEIN FÜR MICH, which is probably one of the most charming cover versions of Stevie Wonder’s YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE OF MY LIFE!
