Another field trip into a time where wedding, birthday and company party dance floors was played by live bands. One of innumerable of those German entertainment bands was the Conny Wagner Sextett. Nasty, functional nightlife service. But they released also some records, first release on German DECCA and then exclusively on Flash Records. A nice designed label that has only three records, all by the Conny Wagner Sextett, in the catalog.
This album contains a dope and very idiosyncratic cover version of THE HUSTLE, originally by Van McCoy & The Soul City Symphony.
