The amazing debut album of the German band Birdland which focuses on music with Brazilian and Latin American influences. In the 80s, the band played many local concerts and brought a little South American warmth to Bonn and the surrounding area. This first album was self-financed and released in a very small edition on the local and obscure music label RATTEN PLATTEN and also sold only locally for just 5,- DM to friends at their concerts. After some songs were surprisingly and frequently used in radio broadcasts of the WDR, the musicians knew they were on the right track and increasingly concentrated on their music and studio work.
