Nice copy. Vinyl with several light scratches. “SOUNDS” – SOUND SPIRIT plays luckily perfectly. The cover shows some more signs of age. Yellowed and some dirt spots and storage wear. Written in with ball pen. In general a useful copy and here again for a super small price. The cover picture is a generic one and has nothing to do with the actual offer.

Double vinyl compilation housed in a gatefold cover. Very small edition, local private release by Jazz Club Podium e.V. which at that time was located in Alt-Sachsenhausen, the Äppel-woi-nightlife district of Frankfurt. Live recordings, featuring four jazz groups, each one with one side of the album. Sadly mostly old-time swing and dixie-jazz stuff. But one of the groups is called “SOUNDS”, they are more on a modern, groovy and spiritual jazz way. Playing three compositions by Nat Adderley, Cannonball Adderley and Benny Golson. But towering is the self-penned SOUND SPIRIT!
