What a bass line, what a groove and these breathtaking changes of vibes. Alternating movements of deep sadness and hopeful moods that are so close together. If I’ve understood correctly, the whole album is about separation and the relationship between a man and a woman after a relationship. The strong images by photographer Brian Ward support this interpretation with a beautifully illustrated photo story across the entire gatefold cover.
