Wonderful sounds, recorded in the Rhenus studio in Cologne, Germany, by some really great jazz musicians around the wonderful Dutch jazz singer Greetje Kauffeld. Amazing line-up of musicians. For example, TRISTEZA features Ack Van Rooyen on flugelhorn, Herb Geller on flute and percussion is played by the legendary Louis ‘Sabu’ Martinez from New York.
The whole album is a delight. Cosy jazz and bossa nova at a very high level. Delicious and very relaxed big band music with this outstanding vocal performance on top.
