Jazz-Zyklus 1

Another superb and seldom seen Jazz record on the lovely, local and familiar working SOFTWARE label. German drummer Joachim Fuchs-Charrier and Jazz guitarist Werner Goos are the headliners of this formation. The album contains eight pretty Jazz tunes and the one that I mostly like is JAZZ-ZYKLUS 1 with a very catchy saxophone theme integrated between a quiet intro and calm solos.

Drumsolo

Yes … the name is program, this is a pure DRUMSOLO where Joachim Fuchs-Charrier turns mad on his sonor drum set. Pure beats for hole 1:45 minutes.

Kind Of Blue

The great cover photography comes from Wulf Rössler again. He had also made the picture for the first Chameleon album (1979). He stays thematically at water and a predominant blue picture. But the cover design of Chameleon 2 has the nice twist that the horizontal picture is wrapped completely around the album cover. The picture detail is skillful chosen that there is a topless woman relaxing on the left side of the cover front.
